19th Cracovia Marathon and accompanying events: details of the events

We present the most important information about the 19th Cracovia Marathon (including the competition for disabled athletes in wheelchairs), the Night Run 10 km, the Cracovia Inline Skating Marathon and the 15th Piotr Gładki Mini Cracovia Marathon which supplement the regulations of individual events.

Verification of competitors, assigning starting numbers and collecting numbers and starting packages will only take place at the Competition Office.

VERIFICATION OF RUNNERS

The runner is registered, paid for, no discounts - reports to the Competition Office at the verification stands - shows the QR code (on the phone, tablet or printed) and an ID document with a photo. The code is scanned by the volunteer, the data displayed on the screen and presented in the ID document are checked, the competitor receives the bib number assigned to the appropriate time zone in color. After scanning the code on the number, it is assigned to the runner. Then picks up his bib number, deposit number, safety pins. At the same time, a starter package is being prepared.

In case of doubts as to the identity of the competitor receiving the package or the correctness of his application, the competitor will be directed to the "Help Center/Help desk" stand for thorough verification of the application.

The runner registered, paid for, with discounts - reports to the Competition Office at the verification station for disabled people and those benefiting from discounts (KKR3 +, people invited by the Organizer, volunteers, disabled people, people who have completed all editions of Cracovia Marathon, guides for people with visual disabilities, holders of the Crown of Polish Marathons) - shows a QR code (on a phone, tablet or printed), a document entitling you to a discount and a photo ID. The code is scanned by the volunteer, the data displayed on the screen and presented in the ID document are checked, the competitor receives the bib number assigned to the appropriate time zone in color. After scanning the code on the number, it is assigned to the runner. Then picks up his bib number, deposit number, safety pins. At the same time, a starter package is being prepared.

In case of doubts as to the identity of the competitor receiving the package or the correctness of his application, the competitor will be directed to the "Help Center/Help desk" stand for thorough verification of the application.

All participants with discounts (Krakow Family Card) should present the document required in accordance with the regulations at the verification desk.

All disabled runners exempted from the fee, regardless of the type of disability, will be verified at the service desk for disabled people in order to thoroughly verify the documents entitling to the exemption from the fee, and above all to check the correctness of assignment to the classification. This will avoid a situation of misclassification and awarding prizes in classifications of disabled persons to persons without a certificate.

In order to enable the collection of the starter package by an authorized person, during registration, the competitor should provide the details of the person authorize to collect the package in the application form. The data provided during registration can be changed by contacting the Organizer no later than April 14, 2022. The representative will receive the competitor's QR code to the provided telephone number, which authorized to collect the starting package. When collecting the starter package, the Representative is obliged to present the QR code and an identity document. If the competitor:

- did not get it, forgot, there is no QR code - go to the help desk/help desk - receive the code - then as above

- wants to change any data in his application - reports to the help desk/help desk - the data is changed - then as above

- wants to sign up - makes the payment at the cash desk, goes to the help desk/help desk - is saved electronically, gets the starting number - goes to the t-shirt stand

VACCINATION DECLARATION

At the Competition Office, competitors will be able to voluntarily report the fact of their vaccination against COVID-19 with a vaccine that has been approved for marketing in the European Union (at least 14 days should have elapsed since vaccination).

SANITARY RULES

Competitors are required to comply with the sanitary recommendations indicated by the sanitary services and the Organizer on the start date. Detailed instructions will be posted on the website www.cracoviamaraton.pl at a later date.

The race cannot be attended by people who on the day of the event:

a. have symptoms of infection, especially of the upper respiratory tract such as runny nose, cough;

b. have a temperature above 37,5C;

c. are in quarantine or isolation.

STARTING PACKAGES

As part of the starting fee, each participant receives a starting package, which consists of a starting number + safety pins, a sack for clothing for deposit + a sticker for the sack, information materials and a T-shirt.

START

The start of the 19th Cracovia Marathon will take place on April 24, 2022 (Sunday) at 9:00 a.m. from the Main Square - at the height Sienna St. (G-H line). The starting gate will be closed approx. 5 minutes after the competitors from the last zone start.

The start of the 19th Cracovia Marathon for Athletes with Disabilities in wheelchairs will take place at 8:40 a.m. (competitors with a disability competing in wheelchairs must appear in the starting area by 8:20 a.m. at the latest).

CLOACK ROOM/DEPOSIT

The changing rooms will be located on the Main Market Square from the side of the Town Hall Tower.

The deposit will be located in a tent on the Main Market Square. The deposit accepts personal belongings of runners packed in bags with a sticker with the starting number (bags and stickers will be issued during verification at the Competition Office).

The bags will be released from the deposit upon presentation of the bib number. Losing the bib number by a runner releases the Organizer from liability for collecting the bag by another person upon presentation of the bib number.

The cloakrooms and the deposit will be open on April 24, 2022 from 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Attention! Please do not leave any valuable items or documents in the deposit. The organizer is not responsible for participants' belongings left outside the designated deposit.

SHOWERS

Each participant of the run will be able to use the showers at Szczepański Square for free after its completion. They will be open on April 24, 2022 from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

ROUTE

The course of the marathon is 42,195 k. The route should be completed within 6 hours, i.e. by 3:00 p.m. The route will have marked kilometers from 1 to 42. There will be nutritional points approximately every 5 km, starting from 5 km. There will be refreshment points approximately every 5 km, starting from the point at 7.5 km. There will be toilet cubicles behind the nutrition and refreshment points.

ATTENTION! IN THE STARTING ZONE

For safety reasons, it is strictly forbidden to use bicycles, roller skates, skateboards, other mechanical devices, prams, including prams and animals on the route. It is also forbidden to use Nordic walking poles, run without shoes and with headphones. Persons who do not comply with the above prohibitions will be disqualified and removed from the race route.

ACCOMMODATION

The Organizer does not provide accommodation for participants.

AT THE FINISH LINE

The finish line will be located on the Main Market Square at the height of Sienna St. (G-H line). After crossing the finish line, runners will receive a medal, water, isotonic drink and thermal foil. Please do not stay in the finish zone for too long and move towards the exit as quickly as possible to make room for the next finishing competitors.

REGENERATION PACKAGE

Each competitor who finishes the 19th Cracovia Marathon will receive a regeneration package after the run. The package will be issued in the regeneration zone located on the Main Square.

TIME MEASUREMENT

In the 19th Cracovia Marathon time will be measured and the order will be determined using an electronic time measurement system. During verification, each competitor will receive a chip embedded in the bib number. Proper fastening of the starting number with the chip is a condition for starting the marathon and classifying it in the final message of the competition. During the 19th Cracovia Marathon, all classifications will be carried out according to net times - counted from running the mat at the starting line to running the mat at the finish line, except for the first 50 finishing competitors, whose time will be counted from the starter's shot.

The organizers ask for easy positioning at the start in the appropriate time zones, then the route will have good conditions for sports competition.

After scanning the code on the number, it is assigned to the runner. Then picks up his bib number, deposit number, safety pins. At the same time, a starter package is being prepared.

In case of doubts as to the identity of the competitor receiving the package or the correctness of his application, the competitor will be directed to the "Help Center/Help desk" stand for thorough verification of the application.

All participants with discounts (Krakow Family Card) should present the document required in accordance with the regulations at the verification desk.

All disabled players exempted from the fee, regardless of the type of disability, will be verified at the service desk for disabled people in order to thoroughly verify the documents entitling to the exemption from the fee, and above all to check the correctness of assignment to the classification. This will avoid a situation of misclassification and awarding prizes in classifications of disabled persons to persons without a certificate.

In the case of minors, the starter package may be collected by:

- Parent/legal guardian whose data is provided in the application form,

- A minor competitor in person - only if the application is complete and contains all the required consents, including the explicit consent of the parent/legal guardian to collect the package and participate in the competition. In the absence of the required approvals or doubts as to the correctness of the application, the Organizer may refuse to issue the package to a minor.

- An attorney authorized by the parent/legal guardian - in accordance with the principles of receipt by the attorney.

In order to enable the collection of the starter package by an authorized person, during registration, the competitor should provide the details of the person authorize to collect the package in the application form. The data provided during registration can be changed by contacting the Organizer no later than April 14, 2022. The representative will receive the competitor's QR code to the provided telephone number, which authorized to collect the starting package. When collecting the starter package, the Representative is obliged to present the QR code and an identity document.

If the competitor:

- did not get it, forgot, there is no QR code - go to the help desk/help desk - receive the code - then as above

- wants to change any data in his application - reports to the help desk/help desk - the data is changed - then as above

- wants to sign up - makes the payment at the cash desk, goes to the help desk/help desk - is saved electronically, gets the starting number - goes to the t-shirt stand

VACCINATION DECLARATION

At the Competition Office, competitors will be able to voluntarily report the fact of their vaccination against COVID-19 with a vaccine that has been approved for marketing in the European Union (at least 14 days should have elapsed since vaccination).

SANITARY RULES

Competitors are required to comply with the sanitary recommendations indicated by the sanitary services and the Organizer on the start date. Detailed instructions will be posted on the website www.biegnocny.pl at a later date.

The race cannot be attended by people who on the day of the event:

a. have symptoms of infection, especially of the upper respiratory tract such as runny nose, cough;

b. have a temperature above 37,5C;

c. are in quarantine or isolation.

STARTING PACKAGES

As part of the starting fee, each participant receives a starting package, which consists of a starting number + safety pins, a sack for clothing for deposit + a sticker for the sack, information materials and a T-shirt.

START

Start of the 15th Piotr Gładki Mini Cracovia Marathon will take place on April 23, 2022 (Saturday) at 12:30 p.m. from the promenade on 3 Maja Avenue on Błonia Krakowskie, at the height of Oleandry St.. The start gate will be closed approximately 5 minutes after the starter's signal.

CLOACK ROOM/DEPOSIT

The changing rooms will be located in the west stand of the Henryk Reyman Municipal Stadium.

The deposit will be located in the Media Pavilion at the Henryk Reyman Municipal. The deposit accepts personal belongings of competitors packed in bags with a sticker with the starting number (bags and stickers will be issued during verification at the Competition Office).

The bags will be released from the deposit upon presentation of the bib number. Losing the bib number by a runner releases the Organizer from liability for collecting the bag by another person upon presentation of the bib number.

The cloakrooms and the deposit will be open on April 23, 2022 from 11:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Attention! Please do not leave any valuable items or documents in the deposit. The organizer is not responsible for participants' belongings left outside the designated deposit.

SHOWERS

After completing the run, each participant will be able to use the showers free of charge, which will be located in the west stand of the Henryk Reyman Municipal Stadium. They will be open on April 23, 2022 from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.

ROUTE

The length of the route is 4200 m. The route should be completed within 45 minutes, ie by 1:15 p.m..

ATTENTION! IN THE STARTING ZONE

For safety reasons, it is strictly forbidden to use bicycles, roller skates, skateboards, other mechanical devices, prams, including prams and animals on the route. It is also forbidden to use Nordic walking poles, run without shoes and with headphones. Persons who do not comply with the above prohibitions will be disqualified and removed from the race route.

ACCOMMODATION

The Organizer does not provide accommodation for participants.

ON THE FINISH LINE

The finish line will be located on the promenade on 3 Maja Avenue on Błonia Krakowskie, at the height of the Papal Stone. After crossing the finish line, competitors will receive a medal, water and isotonic drink. Please do not stay in the finish zone for too long and move towards the exit as quickly as possible to make room for the next finishing competitors.

TIME MEASUREMENT

In the 15th Piotr Gładki Mini Cracovia Marathon time will be measured and the order will be determined using an electronic time measurement system. During verification, each competitor will receive a chip embedded in the bib number. Proper fastening of the starting number with the chip is a condition for starting the marathon and classifying it in the final message of the competition. During the 15th Piotr Gładki Mini Cracovia Marathon, all classifications will be carried out according to net times - counted from running the mat at the starting line to running the mat at the finish line, except for the first 50 finishing competitors, whose time will be counted from the starter's shot.
