Cracovia Marathon is the third best marathon in the world according to Sole Supplier website service!

The British Sole Supplier website service evaluated the IAAF-certified marathons. Many organizational factors as well as environmental conditions were considered. Points were granted for each of the evaluated issues based on a scale of 0-10. In the final ranking, the third place, with an average score of 7.02, was taken by the Cracovia Marathon!

The first position was taken by the German Haspa Marathon Hamburg (average 7.57), and the second place went to the Austrian International Vienna City Marathon (average 7.45).

81 marathons from around the world were analysed. Points were granted, inter alia, for the average time to complete the race, entry fee, toilets, medical points, level of the local hotel base. Environmental conditions, such as air quality, temperature, rainfall or altitude at which the city is located, were also considered.

An interesting fact is that the Cracovia Marathon also took the third place in the partial classification of marathons with the cleanest air.
