TAURON 22nd Cracovia Marathon
Before contacting the Organizer, please read carefully the following list of frequently asked questions and the Event Regulations.
REGISTRATION AND APPLICATIONS
How do I register to participate in the race?
First, you must register in the DATASPORT system on the Registration page. Then, also in the DATASPORT system, log in to your account and select from the list the run you wish to sign up for, or go directly to the dedicated Sign Up page for the TAURON 22nd Cracovia Marathon by clicking "Sing Up”.
How do I register for the DATASPORT system?
Registration for the DATASPORT system is possible through the REGISTRATION page.
After registration, the activation link did not come to me. I have a problem with activation. The link is incorrect.
Please send a description of the problem to the company operating the enrollment system to: biuro@datasport.pl with your name and email address, which was indicated when creating an account in the system.
The enrollment/payment form does not display correctly.

Until when is online enrollment conducted?
The final limit of participants of the TAURON 22nd Cracovia Marathon has been exhausted on 19 March - there are 8000 people on the start list. This means that online registration is over. Applications will also not be accepted at the Competition Office at the Henryk Reyman Municipal Stadium, where on 4, 5 and 6 April those registered to take part in the event are invited to collect their starting packages.
Can I sign up for the race if electronic registration has already ended, but the limit of starters has not been exhausted?
The final limit of participants of the TAURON 22nd Cracovia Marathon has been exhausted on 19 March - there are 8000 people on the start list. This means that online registration is over. Applications will also not be accepted at the Competition Office at the Henryk Reyman Municipal Stadium, where on 4, 5 and 6 April those registered to take part in the event are invited to collect their starting packages.
Is it necessary to provide an email address?
Providing an e-mail address is necessary to create an account in the system. Each competitor is required to register with an individual email address.
Providing an email address is also necessary to receive an individual QR code from the registration system needed to pick up the package.
Is it necessary to provide a phone number?
Providing a phone number is necessary to: receive an individual QR code from the registration system necessary for packet pickup by SMS (Polish mobile networks only), receive the result/intervals by SMS, receive important information on the organization of the race, and most importantly to ensure efficient contact between the organizer and the competitor.
What is an ICE number?
This is the phone number of the person to be notified in case of an accident (from In Case of Emergency). Please do not enter your phone number as the ICE number.
Do I have to give the name of the parent club?
This is not necessary. You can leave the field blank.
Can minors compete?
Only people who are 18 years of age or older on the day of the race at the latest can take part in the race. It is not possible to allow a minor who, for example, "is missing a few days" to start.
Are there team sign-ups?
Group sign-ups are possible (minimum of 5 people). The team captain reports the number of people in the team, requests an invoice, pays the invoice, then receives unique codes, which are then given to the players. Details HERE.
ENTRY FEE AND STARTING NUMBERS
What is the amount of the entry fee?
The amount of the fee depends on the date of payment:
Until January 10, the entry fee was 160 PLN.
On 11.01.-28.02.2025, it is 200 PLN.
On 01.03-25.03.2025, it is 250 PLN.
In the event that the starting limit is not reached, the starting fee will be 280 PLN at the Competition Office on 4-5.04.
Can I choose my own starting number?
No. Starting numbers are assigned randomly at the Competition Office.
How to make payment?
Immediately after signing up for the race, the competitor is redirected to the online payment page (PayU System).
If you sign up at the Competition Office, it is possible to pay by cash, as well as by credit card, at the cashier's stand.
Can I sign up for participation and pay at another time?
There is no such possibility. Payment must be made immediately after signing up for the race in the case of electronic registration. If the entry fee is not paid immediately after registration, the registration is considered invalid.
When is the start number assigned?
The starting number is assigned at the Competition Office.
Will I be refunded my fee if I can't take off?
No. The organizer does not provide for the possibility of refunding the entry fee. It is possible to transfer the entry fee to another competitor.
Can I rewrite the package/transfer the entry fee to another competitor?
The organizer allows you to transfer the entry fee to another competitor. Transfer of entry fee can be made in the form of an assignment no later than March 31. The cost of this operation is 20 PLN.
How can I transfer the entry fee to another competitor?
A competitor who wants to transfer the entry fee to another competitor will do so on their profile in the DataSport registration system using the "Transfer" option, after which they will receive a link to pay a handling fee of PLN 20.00. Then, an individual link will be sent to the e-mail address corresponding to their profile in the DataSport registration system to be transferred to the new competitor.
A new competitor registers individually in the registration system using the link provided by the withdrawing competitor.
If the entry fee was documented with a VAT invoice, or the registration was made using a code from a voucher or group registration, the fee cannot be transferred to another competitor.
If the entry fee was covered by the discount described in point V. 11 of the Regulations, the fee cannot be transferred to another competitor.
Can I transfer the fee to another event/the next edition of this event?
No. There is no such possibility.
Who is exempted from the entry fee?
Exempted from the entry fee are:
- persons with disabilities,
- guides of the blind,
- persons who have completed twenty one editions of the Cracovia Marathon,
- pacemakers,
- persons invited by the Run Director,
- volunteers working on the organization of the TAURON 22nd Cracovia Marathon for min. 8 hours.
What level of disability do I need to have in order to be exempt from the fee?
Any person with a disability who has an official document confirming the status of a person with a disability, i.e. a disability certificate issued by an Adjudicating Institution, is exempt from the participation fee.
The said document must be presented at the Competition Office upon verification.
Are people who are 60 years of age or older exempt from the fee?
No.
Is the Large Family Card (nationwide) the basis for obtaining a discount?
No. Only participants of the Krakow Family Card 3+ program can get a discount on participation in the run. The card must be presented at the Competition Office during verification. Verification of those taking advantage of the discount will take place at the designated booth.
Taking advantage of the discount for holders of the Krakow Family Card is only possible for individuals who do not conduct business for personal purposes, not a business entity.
Are discounts and fee waivers considered for group enrollment?
Yes, for groups of more than 10 people the discount is 10% of the applicable entry fee. Details of team registration are available in the instructions: https://cracoviamaraton.pl/team-registration?hl=en
Can I pay for medal engraving in advance?
When registering for the TAURON 22nd Cracovia Marathon on the registration website, i.e. until 25.03.2025, the competitor has the option to purchase the medal engraving service (placing the name, surname and result of the competitor on the medal) along with the entry fee. The purchase of the medal engraving service for PLN 25.00 will also be possible on the day of the Race, directly from the engraving service provider.
How can I pay for the medal engraving service?
In the registration form for the TAURON 22nd Cracovia Marathon, select "Yes" next to the option regarding the purchase of the medal engraving service, then an additional fee of PLN 25.00 will be charged with redirection to the payment system.
The purchased medal engraving service will be performed on the day of the Event, at a stand designated for this purpose, based on the competitor's start number.
The purchase of the medal engraving service for PLN 25.00 will also be possible on the day of the Race, directly from the engraving service provider in the finish zone.
START LIST AND APPLICATION CORRECTION
I want to change the data on the start list. What should I do?
Data can be changed by sending a message to zapisy@zis.krakow.pl with your email address and the data to be changed until online registration is possible.
It is not possible to change the name, surname and date of birth of an enrolled competitor (except in justified cases, e.g. change of surname after marriage, official change of name, in which case the relevant documents must be presented).
After the closing of the registration, the change of data is possible only in the Competition Office at the help desk/"Help desk".
How are age categories assigned?
In the registration system, the age category is assigned automatically, based on the year of birth.
Can I change the starting zone?
Yes. To do this, please write an e-mail to zapisy@zis.krakow.pl, stating the zone in which the athlete wants to compete. This is possible until the end of online registration.
What is the limit of starters?
The limit of starters is 8000 participants.
IVOICES
How to get an invoice?
Receiving an invoice is possible only if the request for an invoice is indicated in the registration form and the correct and complete data for which an invoice is to be issued is indicated in the form. Invoice data can be provided only before payment of the entry fee. The invoice issued to an individual is sent to the e-mail address of the competitor. An invoice issued to a company/association/club is sent to the address of the entity to which it was issued.
Sending an invoice electronically will be possible after obtaining individual consent from the persons representing the company/association/club, in accordance with applicable laws.
I sent/sent a request for an invoice, when and how will I receive it?
An invoice issued to an individual is sent to the athlete's e-mail address by the Accounting Department. An invoice issued to a company/association/club is sent by mail to the address of the entity to which it was issued.
Sending an invoice "to the company" electronically will be possible after obtaining individual permission from persons representing the company/association/club, in accordance with applicable laws.
Can the purchase of an entry fee with the Krakow Family Card discount be documented with an invoice?
Taking advantage of the discount for holders of the Kraków Family Card is possible only by individuals not running a business for personal purposes, not a business entity. Such payment can be documented by a VAT invoice per individual.
Is it possible to receive a collective invoice?
It is possible to receive a collective invoice if all payments of the persons to be invoiced are credited on the same day and for the same amount of the entry fee for the same event.
The company wants to pay for me. Is this possible?
Prepayment by the company is possible only in the case of group enrollment, i.e. when the company buys at least 5 places.
Otherwise, each competitor pays individually and can receive an invoice for the company based on proof of payment.
PACEMAKERS
Who is a pacemaker?
A pacemaker leads a group of athletes for a specific period.
How to recognize a pacemaker?
Each pacemaker is dressed in a T-shirt with the word "pacemaker" and the time for which he or she is leading the group. In addition, he has balloons labeled with the time for which he is leading.
I would like to become a pacemaker what to do?
Recruitment for pacemakers for the TAURON 22nd Cracovia Marathon is currently closed.
Please send a message to zapisy@zis.krakow.pl with: your first and last name, the time for which you would like to lead, a minimum of 5 times achieved in runs at a given distance in the last 2 years and a brief description of yourself.
COMPETITION OFFICE AND STARTING PACKAGES
Where is the Competition Office located?
The Competition Office is in the lobby under the eastern stand of the Henryk Reyman Municipal Stadium at 20 Reymonta St. The entrance is from Reymana St.
On what days and hours is the Competition Office open?
April 4, 2025, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm
April 5, 2025, from 7:00 am to 8:00 pm
April 6, 2025, from 7:00 am to 8:00 pm
What does the starting package include?
A sticker for the deposit bag, a starting number and safety pins, and gifts from sponsors.
The starting package does not include the start T-shirt.
Will I be able to pick up my packet after the closing/pre-opening of the Competition Office?
It is not possible to pick up the starting package at a time other than the deadline for the operation of the Competition Office stated in the regulations.
Is it possible to send the package?
No. Starting packages not collected at the Competition Office will not be shipped or issued later.
Is the Competition Office open on the day of the event?
Yes, from 7:00-8:00 a.m. only for the collection of starting packages. It is not possible to pay for participation in the TAURON 22nd Cracovia Marathon on that day.
Will I sign up for the race on the day of the event?
No, registration at the Competition Office is only possible on April 4-5, 2025, in case the limit of starters is not exhausted.
How is the starting package collected?
You need to report to the Competition Office with the QR code and approach the verification desk for the selected event.
Then present the QR code received by text message or email.
In the case of persons exempted from fees or entitled to a discount, there is additionally an obligation to present a document entitling you to an exemption/discount of the participation fee.
At the verification booth, a starting number, deposit number, safety pins and a starting package will be issued.
In the absence of appropriate documents entitling to exemption/discounting of the participation fee, the competitor/athlete is obliged to pay a surcharge up to the amount of the participation fee in force in the Competition Office.

Where can I find the QR code?
On your profile in DATASPORT. Each competitor will receive his/her code on his/her phone number and on the email address provided at registration. The code will be sent approximately 3 days before the event date.
Codes will be sent only to phone numbers registered in Polish networks.
The QR code is assigned to a particular competitor, you should protect your code from getting into the wrong hands. The organizer provides for verification of the competitors on the basis of an identity card or other document proving identity.
The organizer is not responsible for the situation when, on the basis of the QR code, the starting package is taken by an unauthorized person.
Does the QR code have to be printed?
No, it can be shown on a phone, tablet, other device.
I didn't get the QR code/It doesn't open/I don't have the code. What to do.
At the Competition Office, with your ID document, go to the help desk/"Help desk".
I want to change my data. What should I do?
You need to write a message to zapisy@zis.krakow.pl or at the Competition Office you need to report with your ID to the help desk/"Help desk".
I want to register for the event at the Competition Office. What to do?
In order to pay the entry fee, you must report to the ticket office and then with your ID to the help desk/"Help desk".
For fee-exempt athletes, report directly to the help desk/"Help desk".
What do I need to have with me to pick up my package?
In order to verify and pick up your race packet, you must present your QR code and photo ID at the Competition Office at the verification desk.
In addition, for discounts or fee waivers, you must also bring with you the document that entitles you to the discount/waiver (i.e., KKR3+ program card, disability certificate or disabled person's card, audiogram, proof of KMP - a photo of the diploma is sufficient).
When to show the required documents?
During verification at the Competition Office.
KKR 3+ program card at the verification desk or at the help desk/"Help desk" in case of new enrollment.
People with disabilities - at the verification desk for people with disabilities (regardless of the type of disability).
Can someone pick up the package on my behalf?
Yes. When registering in the registration form, the competitor provides the name, e-mail and phone number of the proxy who will collect his/her participation package. This data can be changed until April 2. The designated person will receive a QR code authorizing them to pick up the package.
Is it necessary to authorize in writing, to sign an authorization/statement at the Competition Office?
No. The data of the proxy should be provided in the application form. They can be completed until April 2, 2025. Lack of these data will prevent you from collecting the participation package, even if the proxy shows the competitor's QR code.
When picking up the starting package, the proxy is required to show the QR code of the competitor for whom he/she is picking up the starting package and his/her identity document.
Is it necessary to have a special medical examination?
No. By registering, the competitor indicates that he/she is aware of the risks associated with the start and is aware of his/her health condition.
T SHIRTS
Is a T-shirt included in the starting package?
Starting package do not include a T-shirt. When registering, competitors only declare their desire to purchase a T-shirt and select its size. T-shirts will be sold by the Technical Sponsor of the TAURON 22nd Cracovia Marathon, ASICS, at a dedicated stand in the Competition Office at the Expo.
What is the cost of a T-shirt?
The price of a T-shirt is 80 PLN.
Can I try on a T-shirt before purchase?
There will be a fitting room at the jersey purchase point.
What should I do if I marked/checked the wrong T-shirt size in the application form?
You can change the size of the T-shirt in your race application in the DATASPORT system, or you can notify the Organizer via email to: zapisy@zis.krakow.pl.
What if in the registration form I declared my desire to purchase a T-shirt, and yet I do not want one?
During the registration process, competitors only declare their desire to purchase a T-shirt and the size. The final decision on the purchase will be made at the jersey sales points.
What if in the registration form I did not declare my desire to purchase a T-shirt, and yet I want to buy one?
You should declare your desire to purchase a T-shirt to the Organizer by sending an email to: zapisy@zis.krakow.pl.
Those who did not declare their desire to purchase a T-shirt, but are interested in buying them, can also purchase T-shirts:
- on April 4-5, 2025 at the Competition Office at the Expo (during opening hours), at the dedicated booth "SHIRTS" from the remaining reserves.
STARTING NUMBER
Is the starting number named?
The organizer does not put names, surnames, nicknames of the competitors on the number. The starting number assigned (allocated) at the Competition Office is a document assigned to a specific competitor.
Do I have to line up in the zone that is marked on my number?
You can try to line up in another zone, however, the Organizer recommends that you follow the zone designations indicated on your starting number.
I lost my number. What now?
The Organizer does not issue duplicate numbers. The only possibility is to re-register for the race (and pay the fee) and receive a new number.
According to the regulations, it is the competitor assigned to the number who bears the consequences if another person starts on a lost number.
What is a chip?
The chip used for timing is located under a sponge glued on the starting number. Under no circumstances should this sponge be peeled off. A violated start number is considered invalid.
How to mount the number and chip?
The start number together with the chip should be pinned with safety pins received in the starting package on the front of the start shirt (at chest level).
START AND ROUTE
What time is the start?
The start of handicapped athletes competing in wheelchairs will be at 8:50 am.
The start of the main run will be at 9:00 am.
Where is the start located?
The start line is located on the Main Market Square at the height of Hard Rock Cafe (line G-H).
What is the time limit?
The time limit is 6 hours.
Where are the changing rooms located?
The men's and women's locker rooms will be located in a tent on the Small Market Square (open from 7:30 am to 4 pm).
Where is the depository located?
The depository will be located in the tent on the Small Market Square (open from 7:30 am to 4 pm).
Is it possible to start on a wheelchair?
Yes. Competitors competing in wheelchairs are bound by the rules and regulations of the TAURON 22nd Cracovia Marathon for athletes with disabilities competing in wheelchairs.
Is it possible to run with a dog?
No, starting with animals is prohibited.
Is it possible to run with a baby stroller?
No, it is not possible to start with a baby carriage, including a cross-country baby carriage.
Is it possible to run with headphones?
Yes, we recommend, however, that the volume is such that you can hear the announcements from outside.
Is it possible to put your own nutrients at the points?
No, it is not possible.
What is the difference between a refreshment point and a nutrition point?
Only water is available at the refreshment point. Isotonic drinks, fruit, sugar, sweets may also be available at the nutrition point.
Where are the nutrition points located and where are the refreshment points located?
Nutritional points will be located around 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 35 and 40 km.
Refreshment points will be located around 7.5 km, 12.5 km,17.5 km, 22.5 km, 27.5 km, 32.5 km and 37.5 km.
Are there toilets along the route?
Toilets will be located near the start and finish line at the Main Market Square, by the changing rooms at the Small Market Square, and at all nutrition and refreshment points.
Is the route marked?
Yes, the route is marked every 1 km.
Is the route certified?
The route is certified by PZLA, World Athletics (formerly IAAF) and AIMS.
Is a GPX file of the TAURON 22nd Cracovia Marathon route available?
A downloadable GPX file will be posted with the route at the https://cracoviamaraton.pl/?hl=en website.
Will there be medical assistance on the route?
Yes, medical points will be located at the nutrition and refreshment points.
Can someone on a bicycle/scooter ride beside me on the route?
No, no vehicles are allowed on the route except for the organizer's vehicles.
What should I do if I witness an accident/failure on the route?
Report the accident directly to the services guarding the route.
Will there be an organized kindergarten for the children of people who are competing?
No. The organizer does not plan to organize a kindergarten.
META AND RESULTS
What is the net time?
It is the competitor's time from the time they cross the starting line to the time they cross the finish line.
What is the gross time?
It is the competitor's time from the moment the starter's gun fires until the moment they cross the finish line.
Where can I find the results?
Results will be available on the run website at the following link: https://wyniki.datasport.pl/results5361/indexnew.php
The official announcement of the results will be made up to 14 days after the end of the Event or after the results of the doping control, if any.
Will I receive a text message with the result?
Each competitor who provides his/her phone number when signing up to participate in the race will receive a text message with the results after completing the course.
Will I receive a diploma?
A diploma will be available for downloading and printing on the results page.
Do I have to return the chip after the run?
No, the chip installed in the starting number is disposable.
Will I receive a meal after the run?
At the finish line, each competitor will receive a hot regeneration meal. The regeneration zone for competitors will be located on the Main Market Square from the side of the Town Hall.
Where are the showers located?
Showers will be located at the Small Market Square on 6.04.2025 (Sunday) and will be available from 10:30 am to 4:00 pm.
What are the prizes?
All prizes are described in detail in the regulations of the event.
When will the decorations take place?
The decorations will start at 12:00 p.m.
Are prizes taxed?
Yes, in the event that the total value of the prize exceeds the amount of PLN 2,000, income tax will be deducted from the value of this prize, in accordance with applicable regulations.
How are the prizes paid?
Cash prizes will be paid to the bank account provided by the competitor. After the decoration, please report to the prize tent and leave your contact information.
By when and where can I claim my prize?
For cash prizes, prize transfer details must be provided no later than 30 days after the official results are announced. After this deadline, the prize will be forfeited to the Organizer.
In the case of in-kind prizes, the prize can be picked up at the Organizer's office after contacting the Organizer in advance or in a manner agreed with the Organizer, no later than 30 days from the day of the Event. After this deadline, the prize will be forfeited to the Organizer.
Cash prizes will be paid to the account provided by the competitor after the Organizer receives the results of the doping control (if any) and all data necessary for the bank transfer. Prizes obtained in other classifications referred to in section VI.1. of the event's rules and regulations will be paid to the account given by the competitor in a statement indicating the exact data for the transfer or, in the case of a prize in kind, transferred in the manner indicated by the Organizer.
PASTA PARTY
Is the Pasta Party free?
Yes. For verified competitors on the basis of bib number.
When does the Pasta Party take place?
The Pasta Party will take place on 5 April 2025 (Saturday), between 11 am and 6 pm.
Where does the Pasta Party take place?
The Pasta Party will be organised on the area of the H. Reyman Municipal Stadium (in the corner of the eastern stand, on the side of 3 Maja Avenue, entrance from Reymana Street).
Will there be dishes for vegans available during the Pasta Party?
Yes.
On what basis will I receive a meal at the Pasta Party?
Based on the starting number.
OTHER
Are the competitors insured?
The organizer does not provide participants with personal accident insurance (NNW). It is advisable to get accident insurance on your own.
To whom to give comments on the run?
Complaints on matters related to participation in the race and the organization of the TAURON 22nd Cracovia Marathon can be submitted in writing to the Organizer's address or by e-mail to zapisy@zis.krakow.pl up to 7 days after the end of the event.
Crown of Polish Marathons
Will there be a Crown of Polish Marathons booth available during the TAURON 22nd Cracovia Marathon?
No.
During the TAURON 22nd Cracovia Marathon, will there be a discount for those who have the badge of the Crown of Polish Marathons?
No.

How do I get to the Competition Office?

Are the competitors entitled to a discount on public transport?
On the day of the race, based on the start number, competitors are entitled to free public transportation.
Where can I park?
On April 4, from 15:30-20:30 - the northern parking lot at the H. Reyman Municipal Stadium, entrance from Reymonta Street (north stand).
On April 5, from 6:30 a.m. to midnight - parking lot next to the H. Reyman Municipal Stadium, entrance from Reymonta Street (north stand).
On April 6, from 6:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. - parking lot next to the H. Reyman Municipal Stadium, entrance from Reymonta Street (north stand).
On the day of the start we recommend using Park&Ride parking
Should I have a parking card to use the parking lot?
Yes. Entrance to the parking spaces will be possible upon presentation of a parking card (available for download at www.cracoviamaraton.pl).
Will it be possible to leave my vehicle in the parking lot overnight from 05/06.04?
There is no such possibility.
Is it possible to use overnight accommodation?
Every competitor in the entry fee of the TAURON 22nd edition of Cracovia Marathon can take advantage of free accommodation. All you have to do is sign up and guarantee a free place.
Overnight accommodation will be at Primary School No. 1 at 34 St. Mark Street in Krakow, which is located near the Main Market Square. Competitors should bring their own sleeping bags and carrimates. The school will be open for registration on 5.04.2025 (Saturday) from 7:00 p.m. Sign-ups by email abrzynska@zis.krakow.pl apply for the overnight stay, as the room accommodates 25-30 people. There will be access to sanitary facilities (toilets and one shower) at the accommodation.
You should leave the school on Sunday 6.04.2025 no later than 8:30 a.m. taking all your personal belongings with you (you can leave them in the depository at the Small Market Square).
