Green light for sport – Sport to-ge(t)-ther(e)

We are slowly entering a new sport reality. During the Friday conference, the Polish Government announced the next stage of defrosting sport. We return to physical activity in the open air! The Sport Infrastructure Management Board of Krakow and AZS AWF Krakow Masters coaches as part of the Sport to-ge(t)-her(e) campaign invite children to take part in a special Children's Day event.

Over two months ago, we started introducing social isolation, which had a huge impact on our physical activity. We did not want to and will never want to introduce the word "isolation" to the sports dictionary. It is known for a long time that sport unites people and does not divide. The situation related to the coronavirus pandemic, however, set us a difficult time - we had to give up training outside, we could not meet in a group, all sporting events - both for professionals and amateurs - were canceled. At one time we had to change all our plans. The competitors realized that the years, months and hours of preparation for the start in the dream event must be postponed. For us, the organizers realized that we need to postpone not only the sporting events, but above all the opportunity to meet with you and celebrate joint successes.

The situation still requires prudence and responsibility from us. We are were waiting and hope for new information on defrosting sport, but we did not want to sit idly. Together with our trainer Grzegorz Sudoł we proposed the #trainathome project for the duration of our stay at home we worked on fitness or maintained the already developed form.

On Friday (May 29), during a press conference, we got to know the detailed decisions of the Polish Government regarding the new sports reality. We've got the green light! We can return to practicing physical activity in the open air, of course, remembering the recommendations.

We are coming back to a sports reality that will be completely different from the one we have known so far.  We enter with #DifferentMotivations, remember that we got #CommonGoal - #OneFuture! Remember Sport to-ge(t)-ther(e) and we will be able to say #Let’sFinishTogether!
