START PACKAGE
The start package includes, amongst other things, a stringed rucksack-bag with event logo, race start number, t-shirt, safety pins to attach the start number to the t-shirt, and a sack for clothing together with a sticker for this sack for collection later.
MEDICAL CERTIFICATE
When collecting start packages, runners are required to sign a statement to confirm they are aware of the risks involved with starting in the runs they are participating in, and that their health status does allow them to take part in the run. In case of any doubt as to their health status, or if there are any other related reasons not to participate in the marathon, the runner is obliged to consult a doctor before the start of the race itself.
TIME MEASUREMENT / CLASSIFICATIONS
During the 17th Cracovia Marathon weekend, race finishing positions will be determined by means of electronic time measurement. All race finishing positions will be determined according to net time calculated based on the run from the start mat to the finish mat. For each runner, there is a chip which is embedded in the official, verified race start number they obtain in their start package – the correct mounting of which is a condition for starting the race and to determine the runner’s race finishing position at the end of the competition. The precondition for determining a runner’s race finishing position is that they must run along the approved marathon route and finish the run in regular time.
DEPOSIT/CLOAKROOMS
The start package includes a bag together with a numbered sticker. Into this, the runner can deposit their personal items not needed during the race itself. The numbered sticker should be carefully stuck to the bag before giving the bag to the deposit area. This bag may then be collected from the deposit area after showing the runner’s race start number. If the runner loses their race start number, then this may mean that another person could collect their bag using their start number, and the race organiser is not responsible if any bag is lost in this way.
The cloakroom and deposit area for participants in the 17th PZU Cracovia Marathon and Night Run 10 kilometres will be located at the Main Market Square on the side where the Town Hall Tower is located.
For the Marathon, these will be open on 22nd of April 2018 from 7:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
For the Night Run 10 kilometres, these will be open on 21st of April 2018 from 6:00 p.m. to 11.00 p.m.
The cloakroom and deposit area for participants in both the Cracovia Inline Skating Marathon and Mini Cracovia Marathon will be located at the Henryk Reyman Municipal Stadium. Entrance to this will be via Reymana Street / 3 Maja Avenue.
For the Cracovia Inline Skating Marathon, these will be open on 21st of April 2018 from 7.00 a.m. to 1 p.m.
For the Mini Cracovia Marathon, these will be open on 21st of April 2018 from 1:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Note: Runners are not permitted to leave valuable items and documents in the deposit area.
