Participants of the PZU Cracovia Maraton Challenge ran over 3500 km
The PZU Cracovia Maraton Challenge has ended - virtual training for the PZU Cracovia Marathon! The Sport Infrastructure Management Board of Krakow created an application for free and we could train all togheter regardless of location. You could have chosen four distances: 5 km, 10 km, 21.097 km and 42.195 km. The distances could choose freely and overcome them repeatedly - running, on foot or inline skating. The result was registered in the application each time.
The application was very popular during the two-week challenge. The participants ran with the application in Polish cities: Krakow, Warsaw, Katowice but also abroad - in Austria, the Netherlands, Great Britain and Sweden. In total, the participants of the challenge ran 3,591.17 km.
The longest distance - 2,654.16 km - was ran during street runs, 5 and 10 km runs were the most popular distance. The next 777.97 km are kilometers covered on bicycles, MTB and electric. The fans of Nordic walking and walk enthusiasts covered the distance of 298.63 km. Inline skaters add 134.59 km to this result.
The two-week PZU Cracovia Marathon Challenge has been finished. The application is still free and available. Participants can use it to cover the next kilometers.
