TAURON 23rd Cracovia Marathon – an unique route in the heart of Kraków
In just over a month, on April 19, Kraków will become the running center of Poland for the 23rd time. Thanks to one of the most important running events in the country – the TAURON 23rd Cracovia Marathon – as many as 9,000 marathon runners from many countries will take part in the race in the capital of Małopolska. The route will take participants through the heart of Kraków, allowing them to experience the extraordinary atmosphere of a city with a rich history and unique character.
More than just a run
Marathon in Kraków is not only a sporting challenge covering a distance of 42.195 km, but also a unique journey through the city, where every kilometer brings new emotions. Runners will traverse the streets of the historic center, passing numerous monuments and landmarks that have shaped Krakow's identity for hundreds of years, such as the Main Market Square and Wawel Royal Castle. They will also reach Błonia Krakowskie and Ronald Reagan Central Square. The route will also feature contemporary symbols of the city – the ICE Kraków Congress Center and TAURON Arena Kraków.
Energy that carries
Runners will be accompanied by the energy flowing from other participants and the numerous fans who gather every year to create the unique atmosphere of this event. As usual, there will be numerous cheering points along the route. The Kraków marathon means thousands of hearts beating along the route, hands clapping, voices echoing through the streets of the city. Thanks to this, every runner in Kraków will feel the support and motivation that help them cover the kilometers to the finish line.
Discover the route of the TAURON 23rd Cracovia Marathon
The start will be located in the heart of Kraków, on the Main Market Square. The route will run through nine districts of the city. A new feature this year is the section leading along Księcia Józefa Street to Przegorzały. Part of the race will traditionally take place along the Vistula Boulevards. Marathon runners will complete the 42-kilometer distance at the most important square in Kraków, where a regeneration zone and attractions prepared by the organizers will await them behind the finish line.
Registration is ongoing – 1,500 packages still available
Registration for the TAURON 23rd Cracovia Marathon is still open. There are 7,500 people on the starting list, and 1,500 packages are still available. Applications are submitted online. Join the participants of the TAURON 23rd Cracovia Marathon and experience unforgettable emotions in Kraków!
