The International Open Krakow Fell Running Championship is an event organised since 2007. Participants goal is to succeed in 13-kilometre route between the three Krakow mounds – Krakus Mound, Kościuszko Mound and Piłsudski Mound.

Nearly ¼ of the route runs on unpaved surfaces. The difference in elevation reaches 160 metres. Due to the diversity of terrain, the run was classified in the international classification as „English type” where the trail runs up and down again, in contrast to the „Alpine type”, where the trail only rises for most part. Distance must be defeated in regular time of 2 hours. Entry limit is 2 800 people.

Every place on the track shows that Krakow offers not only old monuments and modern infrastructure, but also picturesque sights and contact with nature. It is the only Polish fell run, which passes through the centre of a big city.
