The 17th PZU Cracovia Marathon: a record number of runners started

A record number of 5848 participants started in 13 minutes in the 17th PZU Cracovia Marathon.

Rafał Szumiec was the winner in the struggle of the wheelchair racers - not only a manual rider, but also an alpine skier, participant of the Paralympic Games in Vancouver.

The Tie Run once again was clearly won by Adam Czerwiński.

As far as the High Heel Run is concerned, the competition was very fierce, and Karolina Giza turned out to be ultimately better than last year's winner Anna Jamioł. Karolina Giza was the third in yesterday's 13th edition of Piotr Gładki Mini Cracovia Marathon (like Adam Czerwiński).
