Change of date for the two biggest runs of the Royal Running Triad in 2024

PLEASE NOTE: There has been a change in the date of the 21st Cracovia Marathon due to the announcement of the local elections. The run will start on Sunday 14 April 2024 at 9:00 a.m. The planned date of the 10th Cracovia Royal Half Marathon, which will take place on 20 October 2024, has also been changed.

Dear Runners,

due to the timing of the local government elections and the possibility of the event clashing with the second round of these elections, by the decision of the Race Director, the 21st Cracovia Marathon, which was originally scheduled to take place on 21 April 2024, is moved to 14 April 2024.

Due to the change of the marathon date, it was also necessary to amend the event's regulations. The updated version of the regulations is available HERE.

In accordance with the regulations in force and the Regulations of the event (Chapter XI, paragraph 6 of the Regulations), due to the introduction of a significant change to the Regulations, which is the change of the event date, participants who have already registered have the right to cancel their participation within 14 days of the announcement of the new Regulations.

Detailed information regarding changes to the Regulations, cancellation and fee refunds will be sent to each registered participant in a message sent to the e-mail address provided during registration.

Cancellation can be made by sending an email to zapisy@zis.krakow.pl  with a clear statement of cancellation of participation in the event. The message should be sent from the athlete's email address assigned to the profile in the registration system.  In the message, please state: first name, surname, date of birth.

The fee will be refunded after verification of the notification of cancellation of participation in the run up to 20 working days from the date of submission of a correct statement. The funds will be refunded to the bank account from which the payment was made, with the exception of participation fees invoiced to the company/association/club, in which case, the refund will be made to the accounts of these entities. Once the fee has been refunded, the competitor will be removed from the entry list.

Failure by the competitor to send a message within 14 days of the announcement of the new Regulations will mean acceptance of the new provisions of the Regulations.

At the same time, we would like to inform you that the initial entry fee of PLN 120 has been extended - up to and including 9 February 2024.

In addition, due to requests from competitors regarding the 10th Cracovia Royal Half Marathon planned for 6 October 2024 and the collision of the date of the event with the Silesia Marathon, as organizers of the event we have decided to change its date.

The 10th Cracovia Royal Half Marathon will take place on 20 October 2024.
